Distribution Program for Blankets and Winter Hats
Abu Zafar Mahmood Foundation will be conducting a distribution program for blankets and winter hats among the underprivileged fishermen of Sarikait Union, located on the Bay of Bengal in the southern part of Sandwip, an island upazila of Chittagong. This initiative is a part of the foundation’s ongoing efforts to support the marginalized communities in Bangladesh during the harsh winter months. The distribution event will take place at the Haji Matiur Rahman Jame Masjid grounds, where the winter materials will be distributed to the fishermen and other disadvantaged individuals.
The event will be attended by several dignitaries and social activists, including Ward members Mizanur Rahman and Anwar Hossain, journalist Sajid Mohan, and social activist Mirajur Mawla Rizvi. Through this program, the Abu Zafar Mahmood Foundation aims to promote the values of selfless service and patriotism towards one’s country, with the belief that “people for people” is the way forward towards a better and brighter future.
