Bir Muktijoddha Abu Zafar Mahmood Foundation recently distributed winter clothes, including blankets and hats, to poor fishermen of Sarikait Union on the Bay of Bengal in the southern part of Sandwip, Chittagong. The distribution took place in Haji Matiur Rahman Jame Masjid grounds with the participation of local leaders and social activists.
This initiative is part of Abu Zafar Mahmood Foundation’s ongoing efforts to serve the community and support those in need. The organization, founded by a brave freedom fighter and son of Sandwip, has been actively involved in various social welfare activities across the country.
In a separate event organized by the foundation, a gathering, banquet, and gift items were distributed among the brave freedom fighters in Sandwip, Chittagong. Local poet Abdul Hakeem was formally given the gift at the auditorium. The event was attended by local leaders and officials who praised the foundation’s service work and commitment to the welfare of the community.
